Players have experimented with the new racial skills of The Elder Scrolls Online, developing a list of the best and worst combinations. There are significant differences between the races.
The ESO guild Hellrunners conducted tests with various race and class combinations to find the most effective connection. Damage per second in a PvE setting was measured.
The strongest races
The best races include Dunmer and Khajiit, followed by Altmer.
These are the best races: Dunmer are particularly strong for stamina builds. However, as a magicka user, their damage is still at a high level.

Khajiit deal extremely high damage as magicka and stamina templars but also perform above average in other classes. They deal less consistent damage because they rely heavily on critical hits and have low health points.
Altmer particularly excel as magicka users, but their DPS as stamina users is average.
The weakest races
However, there are races that perform at the bottom end after the changes. These include the Argonian, Nord, and Imperial races.
These races are weak: Argonians are good as magicka users but perform average at stamina builds.

Nords are average at stamina builds, and their damage as magicka users is rather poor.
Imperials perform well as stamina users, but their damage with magicka is very poor.
Highly specialized races
Some races perform very well in certain areas after the changes, whereas their damage in other areas is extremely low.
Bosmer deal extremely high damage as stamina users, whereas they do not benefit from any racial bonuses as magicka users.

Bretons are essentially the counterpart to Bosmer. They are extremely strong magicka users but do not benefit from any bonuses for stamina.
The focus of Redguards is on the use of stamina weapons. With magicka abilities, they perform rather suboptimally.
Orcs are a race of warriors and hunters. Their strength lies in stamina builds. Their damage with magicka is extremely low.
Players discuss race balance
Currently, the changes to the races are only on the test servers of The Elder Scrolls Online. Therefore, changes can still be made before they land in the live client. The data collection is intended to contribute to the discussion.

A player writes in the ESO Forum “Good job. Apparently, the changes are indeed very good.”
Statistics have their limits: Only the DPS in PvE has been recorded. How the individual classes benefit from the racial skills in PvP cannot yet be determined.
Why is ESO changing racial bonuses? At the end of last year, developer Zenimax announced significant changes to racial bonuses for the classes. The aim of the changes is a better balance between the different classes.
