Patch 4.3.0 and the DLC Wrathstone of the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online are available on the test server. We are looking at the patch notes of the ESO PTS and see: There are already the first bits of the story from Elsweyr.
If you want to take a first look at the big season of Dragons and the story of Elsweyr, you can now test the new DLC Wrathgate and the current update 21.
Test the new content
What does the DLC bring? With Wrathstone, the big “Elsweyr” story starts, which revolves around an attack by the dragons. Included are two dungeons:
- Frostvault: Tharayya’s search for dwarf relics leads her to a long-lost dwarf ruin. This is located deep within a melting glacier. There she wants to find a mysterious tablet, which represents a piece of the Wrathstone.
- Depths of Malatar: The relic hunter Tharayya forms a partnership with the spirit of her treacherous ex-husband Quintus Verres. This leads her to the ruins of an imperial fortress, where she uncovers a terrible secret! You help the relic hunter to defeat the supernatural guardians and to retrieve the legendary artifact located in the ruins.
The dungeons Frostvault and Depths of Malatar are designed for four players and can be accessed via the Eastmarch and the Gold Coast. The two dungeons are playable in a normal and a veteran version. As a reward for completing the quest, you will receive new items, sets, and furniture.
ESO gets a lot of new features
What does the update bring? The DLC focuses on new content, while the update also brings some changes. These include major adjustments to the races, which affect the racial bonuses. This is meant to prevent certain race and class combinations from being better than others. Also included are these contents:

- New PvP collection and outfit styles have been added.
- Updates to the Cyrodiil sets have been made.
- A new zone guide feature has been added, which provides you with a better overview of completed and uncompleted activities. With a button, you will be conveniently guided to the quest giver for the next quest.
- Improvements to the UI.
- New achievements, bug fixes, balancing adjustments, optimizations, and more.
Why the zone guide is so interesting, you can read here:
What else does the update bring? The update offers even more. This includes:
- Elsweyr Prologue Quest – You should help Chancellor Abnur Tharn in his search for a weapon. However, it is necessary to first determine the location of this weapon. This prologue is divided into two quests and you also complete a series of optional daily activities.
- New houses – These include the private arena of Elinhir: in this extraordinary home, you activate different dangers in the center of the arena via levers. These include lightning strikes, fire bursts, and rotating blades.
