On November 1, 2021, the new Update 32 Deadlands of the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online will be released. The Deadlands and Fargrave are new areas being introduced with the update. This means there are new Skyshards. MeinMMO will tell you where to find them.
What are Skyshards? Skyshards are brightly glowing crystals scattered throughout the map of Tamriel. They can be recognized from a distance by the white-blue beam reaching up into the sky.
Skyshards can be collected by players. Three collected Skyshards give the player one skill point each. Therefore, it is always worth keeping an eye out for the glowing stones. They can be found both in dungeons and in the open.
How to get all Skyshards in the Deadlands
With ESO Deadlands, two new areas are introduced to the game. In the area “The Deadlands,” you can find 5 of the 6 new Skyshards. Of these, 3 Skyshards are in the open. For the other 2 Skyshards, you must enter a dungeon.
Skyshards in Dungeons:
The following Skyshards can be found in dungeons in the area of the Deadlands.
Skyshard 1 – In the “Brandmal-Reformatorium”
This Skyshard is located in the dungeon named “Brandmal-Reformatorium.” The dungeon is situated in the west of the Deadlands. You can get there by traveling to the Wayshrine of the Blood Pit and following the path north.
Stay to the left side in the dungeon. Once you reach the north of the dungeon, there is a path going up. You only need to follow it until you find the elaborately staged Skyshard.
Skyshard 2 – In the Dungeon “Torheit der falschen Märtyrer”
In the east of the Deadlands, you will find the dungeon “Torheit der falschen Märtyrer.” First, travel to the Wayshrine of the same name and follow the path north. At the fork, you should keep right to reach the dungeon.
Once you enter the dungeon, it doesn’t really matter whether you choose the left or right path. However, on the right side, you will see the Skyshard on a higher rock. It cannot be reached from there. The important part is the small passage at the top edge of the map. If you follow this, you will reach the ledge with the Skyshard.
Skyshards in the Open:
You can find these Skyshards in the open world of the Deadlands:
Skyshard 3 – South of the Wayshrine of the Summit of the Annihilator
First, travel to the Wayshrine of the Summit of the Annihilator. South of it, you will find the Skyshard on a rock.
Skyshard 4 – At the Stairs of Jynd’s Forge
This Skyshard can be found in the northeast of the Deadlands. Travel to the Wayshrine of the Calcified Fragments and head north towards Jynd’s Forge. Follow the path through the forge. The Skyshard is located to the right of the large stairs.

Alternatively, you can also jump onto the small ledge to the east of the forge and the Skyshard with a running start on your mount.
Skyshard 5 – On a broken, natural bridge, north of the Raging Coast
Another Skyshard can be found north of the Wayshrine of the Raging Coast in the southwest of the Deadlands. You can reach this Wayshrine via the “Portal to the Searing.” The portal is located at the Plaza of Portals southeast in the Fargrave district.
How to find all Skyshards in Fargrave
You can find another Skyshard in the Ruins of Fargrave.
Skyshard 6 – In the Ruins of Fargrave
In the Ruins of Fargrave, you will find the last Skyshard. You can reach this Skyshard through various paths. Ultimately, you just need to walk towards the Wayshrine. You can reach this via a staircase nearby. Or you can travel directly to the Wayshrine of the Ruins.
From there, take the path over the left of the two swinging bridges. The path leads southeast. Then run a bit zigzag through a plateau full of columns. You will know what is meant when you see it. At the end of this plateau is the rock with the Skyshard.
Overall, you can collect 6 Skyshards as described. This ultimately gives you 2 skill points. If you need more skill points, you can also collect the Skyshards in the remaining areas.
Start with the area Darkwood. In our article ESO: Skyshards in Darkwood (Blackwood) Guide, you will find a description of how to obtain the Skyshards.
