The Elder Scrolls Online (PC, PS4, Xbox One) was supposed to receive the DLC “Dragon Bones” for PC on February 12, 2018. However, due to technical issues, it did not go as smoothly as planned. The server maintenance in Europe is now taking much longer. We will let you know when The Elder Scrolls Online should be back up.
The server maintenance for The Elder Scrolls Online was supposed to be completed by the end of the day on February 12, 2018, and the new Dungeon DLC Dragon Bones and Update 17 should have been applied. Unfortunately, that does not seem to have worked in Europe. Currently, no one can log into the game on PC. The European megaservers are down for the time being.
Problems with the European Mega Server
Those trying to log into the game can reach the login screen, but receive the error message “201” after each attempt. This means there are connection issues between the server and the game client.

In this case, the error lies with technical issues on the EU mega servers. There were difficulties with the server settings. To resolve the issue, the developers need to significantly extend the server maintenance.
12 Hours Longer Maintenance
The new maintenance time is substantial. The maintenance will be extended by a full 12 hours. According to Twitter and the help database on the ESO site, maintenance is expected to end around 2 AM on February 13.
So if you had plans tonight to plunder the new dungeon “Claw’s Rest” or test the mount system, unfortunately, you will have to find something else to do.
