In The Elder Scrolls Online you can invest your skill points into various abilities. But what happens if you have messed up your skills? Or if you want to change your playstyle? We at MeinMMO will reveal how you can reset your abilities.
How can I reset my skills? You can reset your abilities and attributes at specific shrines. These are located in different places for each member of a faction.
However, you can recognize them by a specific marker on the map.
- As a member of the Aldmeri Dominion, you must visit the region of Grathwald and enter the city of Eldenroot. The names of the shrines are Stendarr (Skill) and Auriel (Attribute).
- Players from the Ebonheart Pact need to go to the region of Deshaan and visit the Gramfeste. The names of the shrines are Stuhn (Skill) and Kyne (Attribute).
- The Daggerfall Covenant has the shrines located in the region of Sturmhafen in the city of Wegesruh. The shrine names there are Shrine of the Father of Mysteries (Skill) and Shrine of the Warrior-Poet (Attribute).
In this picture we show you as an example how the shrines look in the Gramfeste, as they can be easily overlooked while passing by:
What does it cost to reset skill points? For each point – regardless if skill or attribute – you have to pay 50 gold.
With skill points, however, you also have the option to redistribute individual points and not reset everything at once. By the way, you only pay for the spent points, not for the total accumulated skill points.
For attributes, you can only reset everything at once.
How do I reset Champion Points? This, on the other hand, is much easier. You just have to open the appropriate menu and then press “F” to redistribute. This will cost you a bit of gold, but you don’t have to visit a specific place.
