The Elder Scrolls Online (PC, PS4, Xbox One) has a special event for PvP lovers in July. The Midyear Mayhem offers great bonuses for (almost) all PvP modes in the game.
In The Elder Scrolls Online, you can experience PvP in the open world of the central province of Cyrodiil, including in the contested Imperial City itself and on the battlefields. If the effort so far has been too great and the rewards too small, you can look forward to the new PvP event “Midyear Mayhem”.
The Elder Scrolls Online – More rewards in PvP in July
The Midyear Mayhem takes place from July 21 to July 31, an event in honor of the hero Pelinal Whitestrake, who once bravely defended the Bridge of Heldon. If you want to participate in the event, you must proceed as follows:
- Open the Crown Shop, where you can obtain and activate a ticket named “Details on Midyear Mayhem”.
- Travel via the Alliance War menu to your faction’s main gate in Cyrodiil
- Speak to the quest giver “Predicant Maera” and get the quest “Midyear Mayhem”
- Complete the quest to receive a scroll about “Pelinal’s Cruelty” and “Pelinal’s Midyear Gift”
- Activate the scroll and enjoy two hours of 100%-bonus on Alliance points in the following PvP modes (duels are excluded):
- Alliance War (Cyrodiil)
- Imperial City (you need the DLC expansion Imperial City for this)
- Battlegrounds (you need ESO: Morrowind for this)
Especially cool: The scroll “Pelinal’s Cruelty” can be used repeatedly for the duration of the event.
The Elder Scrolls Online – Laurel Wreath for Real PvP Pros
Those who complete all seven achievements for the Midyear Mayhem can now adorn themselves with a special Laurel Wreath Crown and appear as a PvP badass to everyone. From the chest “Pelinal’s Midyear Gift”, you will receive more useful stuff, like housing decorations, style materials, or PvP consumables.
Additionally, during the event, there is the Khajiit merchant Adhazabi Aba-daro, who sells you necklaces during the first event weekend and rings during the second weekend, which you can exchange for Alliance points and are otherwise only available as rewards in the Alliance War. You can find the merchant at the western gate to Elsweyr, at the northern gate to High Rock, or at the southern gate to Morrowind.
Also interesting: Juergen’s opinion on Morrowind – It’s like a buffet!
