The Elder Scrolls Online will soon celebrate the Fool’s Festival. There will be some extremely silly pets, costumes, and mounts.
What is the Fool’s Festival? From the end of March to early April, the Fool’s Festival takes place in ESO. It’s a kind of carnival in Tamriel, where the inhabitants of the world indulge in all kinds of jokes and mischief reigns.
In addition to in-game events, there will be special shop offers.
The next pet in ESO rocks!
What ridiculous offers are coming to the shop? To celebrate the Fool’s Festival, there will be a lot of new offers related to it in the ESO cash shop:
- Sheogorath Statue: Until April 4, you can get the statue of the mad Daedric Prince Sheogorath. ESO Plus members can even get it for free!
- Ponies: From March 21 to April 2, you can buy a pony as a mount. If you don’t like horses, you can also get dragons and a Guar lizard.
- Fool’s Costume: If you want to frolic around as a grinning, colorful jester, you can get the fool’s costume during the short period from March 25 to 28. Additionally, there are separate fool caps, including the notorious “ass-with-ears fool cap”.
- Fool’s Cap Monkey: From March 25 to 28, there’s also a cute little monkey as a pet. It wears a fool’s cap and is ready for all sorts of fun.
This is the highlight of the Fool’s Festival: All these cool items will be overshadowed by a pet that is unmatched in absurdity and is certainly one of a kind in the history of MMORPGs: the Pebble Friend!
This is a pet that is absolutely low-maintenance and undemanding. No wonder, because the Pebble Friend is a stone! That’s right, you simply get a rock as a pet that follows you and otherwise does what stones do.
If you want to get the Pebble Friend, you should check the Crown Store of ESO between March 21 and April 2.
Wasn’t there something like this before? A similar pet was already in Guild Wars 2. However, the stone there had eyes and somehow lived. In ESO, they take it a step further and actually bring a stone!
Will you get the stone as a pet or do you think that’s too silly?
