In The Elder Scrolls Online Morrowind, there are some quests that require a bit of brainpower. One of them is the quest “Ancestral Adversity”. This quest also offers a lot of loot and can be completed quickly, making it great for gold farming.
The Elder Scrolls Online offers not only a cool story, the new guardian class and PvP battlegrounds, but also a few tricky puzzles in quests.
If you lack the patience for riddles, here’s how to solve the quest “Ancestral Adversity”.
ESO Morrowind – The solution for the ancestral tomb puzzle Ancestral Adversity
The quest Ancestral Adversity can be found in the east of Vvardenfell in the Dreloth ancestral tomb. There, you need to find the missing Narsis Dren and then solve the tomb riddle. This actually involves two puzzles.
First, you need to assign the offerings to the correct tombs. You can find out which tomb relates to which offering here:
- Hand mirror – Tomb of Llirala Veloth
- Arrow – Tomb of Ondre Veloth
- Chalice – Tomb of Valyne Veloth
- Grain sack – Tomb of Elms Veloth
Once you have assigned the offerings correctly, you can open another passage using a harp. Behind it awaits you a riddle with stone plates like in Indiana Jones. But instead of following the letters from “JIehova”, you must follow the correct glyphs.
The correct path can be seen in the embedded YouTube video starting at minute 08:15. Have fun!
At the end of the quest, you will find a lot of loot, which makes it good for gold farming.
