With the DLC “Wolfhunter”, two new dungeons are coming to The Elder Scrolls Online. One of the two dungeons takes place in the Moon Hunter’s Bastion. It has been conquered by werewolves, and you are to reclaim it.
Overrun by Werewolves
No Werewolves Allowed: The Silver Dawn Order consists of sworn werewolf hunters who have dedicated their lives to eradicating all werewolves. In their eyes, werewolves are cursed and must be removed from the face of Tamriel.
The Moon Hunter’s Bastion served for many years as the operational base to coordinate the missions of the order’s members in the region of Glenumbra.
But despite the impressive walls of the Moon Hunter’s Bastion, some werewolves have accomplished the unthinkable and conquered it. This loss not only deals a severe blow to the Silver Dawn’s efforts in Glenumbra, but it also has a very demoralizing effect on the entire order.
The enemy they swore to destroy has triumphed over them.
4 Men Against a Small Army
A Fortress in the Moonlight: Therefore, you will be sent into the fortress to reclaim it for the Silver Dawn Order. While doing so, you must deal with the defensive mechanisms of the castle that serve to repel intruders.
Narrow corridors, complementary doors, and open spaces provide plenty of room to set ambushes and take down unsuspecting intruders. But it’s not just the fortress itself that makes your progress difficult.
In the fortress, powerful werewolves are not the only magical beings waiting for you, trying to prevent you from reaching their leader Vykosa.
Vykosa is an ancient werewolf lady accompanied in battle by two chained wolves. She intends to use the Moon Hunter’s Bastion to breed a massive army that will engulf all of Tamriel. You are to prevent this and reclaim the order’s grounds in the process.
Become the Wild Werewolf
Wild Rewards: Completing the dungeon grants you numerous rewards, as always.
- Upon first completion, you will receive a trophy and bust for your home
- If you achieve the “Challenger of the Moon Hunter’s Bastion” achievement, you may dress in the appearance of the saber cat in brown werewolf fur
- The bosses in the fortress drop a unique set for each armor type. With the medium armor set, you will inflict bleed damage on attacks
- The Mask of Vykosa and the associated shoulders are ideal for tanks. The mask set increases your healing received and applies greater crippling to taunted enemies
