ESO is currently ranked 1st among MMORPGs on Steam. Close behind is Black Desert, which reached a maximum of 32,779 players in the last 30 days.
What is the reason for this? Since April 1, the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online is free for 2 weeks and is complemented by greater discounts. Additionally, the restrictions due to the coronavirus mean that people spend more time playing games. This also leads to overall records on the platform.
None of this would have been possible if Zenimax had not developed the story-driven MMO so strongly in recent years. ESO is constantly expanded with annual add-ons, so-called chapters, and new DLCs. The high quality that has been achieved is also recognized in the reviews on Steam.

Opinions are divided on the combat system – some players desire more intense hit feedback.
What’s next: In May, Greymoor will be the next chapter, which will open an area known from Skyrim following the dragons introduced with Elsweyr. After a long time, there is also a new, larger gameplay feature with the Antiquities system.
