In a livestream, the new DLC of ESO named Firesong was presented. You can even get it for free, but the community needs to cooperate in the new event “Heroes of High Isle.”
This is Firesong: The DLC is the 2nd part of the story that began with the chapter High Isle. It concludes the adventure “Legacy of the Bretons“. At the center of the story is the Breton people, which you can play in ESO, and the political intrigues you will be involved in.
In Firesong, your path leads you to the untamed island of Galen, inhabited by spirits, druids, and dangerous beasts. It belongs to the 4 islands of the Systren Archipelago in the northwest of High Isle and offers various biomes: from dense jungle to rivers of flowing lava.
There will also be new challenges and achievements. Especially you animal lovers can rejoice: one of the achievements requires you to pet all the animals on the island.
When is Firesong releasing? The release of the DLC is just a few weeks away:
- On November 1st, it will be released for PC, Steam, Mac, and Stadia
- On November 15th for Xbox and PlayStation consoles
The prologue quest for Firesong is already online and can be played for free by anyone who owns The Elder Scrolls Online. You do not need any other DLCs or chapters for this.
Unlock the new DLC during the event
This is how you can get Firesong for free: It was also announced during the livestream that the new DLC is the final secret reward for successfully completing the event “Heroes of High Isle.”
The event started on September 29 and will end on October 11 at 4 PM. During this period, the ESO community must work together to complete all tasks of the event and secure the achievement “Pathfinder.”
To do this, they must explore the area “High Isle and Amenos” and find all 6 significant locations. There will be no specific instructions for this; players will need to gather and share information to achieve the goal together.
Every player with the achievement “Pathfinder” will receive Firesong for free. However, to participate in the event, you need to have the paid chapter High Isle.
