With the new chapter High Isle came a new solo item in The Elder Scrolls Online. Many players want it badly and are farming at the same spot since the update. A video on reddit shows how chaotic it looks.
User Th3D3m0n shows in the ESO subreddit how a large number of players are hitting the boss Titanclaw, located in the Sturmhafen area.

The boss can only be identified by his name above him, as the rest is covered by players and their companions. The exact number of players is also not recognizable because too many are standing in and on each other. The lags, by the way, do not come from the video or your PC, but from the game itself.
A useful accessory attracts players
What do players want? It is about the so-called “Oakensoul Ring”, which was introduced with the chapter High Isle in Elder Scrolls Online. The ring is a Mythic item for which you first need to farm 5 traces.
The first trace is Larimar gems, which drop from the world boss Titanclaw at Mudcrab Beach. This is what players in the video are also trying to defeat. Fortunately, the chance for a successful drop is relatively high.
Once you have collected all traces, the Oakensoul Ring will automatically be crafted in your inventory.
Why is the item so sought after? The ring is particularly useful for solo players, as it replaces important buffs that you would otherwise only receive from support.
These are the effects of the Oakensoul Ring:
- Greater Fury – increases damage dealt by 10%
- Greater Might – increases weapon and magic damage by 430
- Greater Brutality / Sorcery – increases weapon and spell power by 20%
- Greater Wildness – increases critical weapon hit
- Greater Might – increases critical damage by 20%
- Greater Protection – reduces damage taken by 10%
- Greater Determination – increases physical resistance and magic resistance by 5948
- Greater Heroism – grants 3 ultimate power every 1.5 seconds
- Lesser Valor – increases health regeneration by 15%
- Lesser Intellect – increases magicka regeneration by 15%
- Lesser Stamina – increases stamina regeneration by 15%
However, you cannot combine the ring. Your character can only equip one Mythic item at a time.
