The Elder Scrolls Online (PC, Mac, PS4, Xbox One) will soon receive a new dungeon. The “Wolfhunter” package also includes the dungeon “March of Sacrifice”. In it, you can expect completely new boss mechanics.
Hircine calls for the hunt! The upcoming dungeon DLC Wolfhunter brings, in addition to the werewolf epic “Moon Hunter’s Lodge”, a journey to another world. In “March of Sacrifice”, you will be taken into the eponymous domain of the Daedric Prince Hircine. There, you will be granted a special honor, as you will be allowed to participate in the Great Hunt.
What is the Great Hunt? This is Hircine’s favorite hobby, as the prince loves the hunt and delights in the chase of hunters after the hunted. It goes without saying that these roles change from time to time.
The boss is watching!
Dungeon in the fresh air: Unlike other dungeons in ESO, in “March of Sacrifice” you are not in deep vaults and caves. Instead, you will stalk as a hunting party through Hircine’s realm.
Your task: Find and slay Tarcyr, the most powerful of all Indrik. These are magical unicorn-deer that are beautiful but also wield deadly magic.
Hircine sees everything! While you pursue the stag, the mighty Hircine is always visible on the horizon. The Daedric Prince is a colossal monster with the skull of a particularly fearsome-looking stag. This adds to the atmosphere.
Hunters and hunted
You are not alone: Besides the usual creatures found in a daedric hunting ground, Hircine has invited other worthy hunters. They are just as much after you as they are after the Indrik.
The werewolf-orc is the worst! The deadliest of all competitors is Balorgh, an orc-werewolf. Werewolves are chosen beings of Hircine, thus the Rok-wolf considers himself particularly suited to pass the trial of the Hunt Prince. Balorgh is one of the bosses in the dungeon.
Bosses like never before!
Keyword boss mechanics: The final bosses in the March of Sacrifice are, according to the developers, something special. This is especially true for the stag final boss. He has a few new tricks up his sleeve that have never been seen before in ESO. It is probably about teleportation moves of the antlered creature.
Special challenges and rewards: Those who complete the dungeon at the highest difficulty will receive a new persona called “The Beast.” Additionally, there is a new mask and shoulder pieces for the veteran mode. A new set called “Hanus Compassion” can also be found in the dungeon. It is particularly well suited for healers.
When is the dungeon coming? So far, no specific release date has been announced other than the 3rd quarter of 2018. However, you can already try out the new content of Wolfhunter and Update 19 on the test server.
