In the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online the next event is starting soon. This time, the areas Vvardenfell, Summerset, and the Clockwork City are in the spotlight. MeinMMO will tell you all the details about the event and how to get all the rewards.
When are the celebrations for the Daedric War? On Thursday, January 20 at 4:00 PM CET the event will begin and you have time until Tuesday, February 1 at 4:00 PM CET.
What are the celebrations for the Daedric War? This event focuses on the areas Vvardenfell, Summerset, and the Clockwork City.
How you can participate in the celebrations
This time, there are numerous options to participate in the event. And it’s quite easy. First, obtain the introductory quest “Guidance of the Guides.” You can get it for free in the Crown Store (,) under Quests or in the showcase. You can also receive it at the tent of the Impresario from Calonir.
You can receive reward boxes with Daedric War loot at the event. Here’s how you can get your loot:
- Completing the introductory quest “Guidance of the Guides” (once)
- Vault bosses
- Open world bosses
- Bosses in the following trials / raids:
- Halls of Fabrication (Vvardenfell)
- Sanctorium (Clockwork City)
- Cloudrest (Summerset)
- Treasure chests, value caches, Psijic portals, theft and resources
- Rift geysers (Summerset)
The leaders / bosses will be marked on your map with a skull symbol. With these add-ons, you can also see where undiscovered bosses may be located:
These are the rewards available during the celebrations for the Daedric War
Look forward to the familiar rewards from last year’s reward boxes:
- Crafting materials
- Style materials for styles from the event areas
- Set items from the open world
- Loot that you can sell to vendors (= extra gold)
- Treasure maps for event areas
- Transmutation crystals
- Chapters for crafting styles from the areas Vvardenfell, Clockwork City, and Summerset
- Armor style of the Snowhawk Sorcerer
- Collection pieces for the celebrations (as rune boxes exchangeable and tradable):
- Rune box for the Slag City Diver (appearance)
- Rune box for the Thetys Ramarys bait set (memento)
- Fragments for the miniaturized vermin mechanoid (companion)

So you can receive two Event Tickets per day. In total, that’s up to 26 Event Tickets during the event.
How to get as many rewards as possible before the event ends
Raiding is especially worthwhile in the Sanctorium
Especially if you are an experienced player, this raid can be farmed efficiently. This is a mini-trial that ideally involves only one fight. But be careful, as for inexperienced players or uncoordinated groups, the boss mechanics can often lead to chaos.
If you are still inexperienced, make sure to equip a damage shield and self-healing on your skill bar and maybe try it first in normal difficulty mode. If you do not have a group for this activity, please pay close attention to the zone chat in the event areas. You are certainly not alone.
For experienced players, this is also the opportunity to obtain the rare rune box “Clockwork Reliquary.” With a lot of luck, the item drops when you complete the raid at the highest level in veteran mode. The rune box contains the transformation “Clockwork Curator.”
Complete the daily area quests with your friends
You can only accept one daily quest at a time. However, that does not mean you can only do this one quest. You can share the daily quests among each other and complete every available quest once a day. With this add-on, you can even see what you are still missing:
Trade items in your community, your guild, and with friends
Do not be disappointed if you loot one of the rewards twice. Your friends might feel the same way. Many of the rewards are not bound. So you can easily trade them among each other.
Alternatively, you can look for missing rewards in the guild store
Do not despair if the last reward just does not want to drop or if you miss the event. There will be plenty of event rewards in the guild stores. And that even after the end of the event.
This is how you get your Event Tickets – daily area quests
To obtain your Event Tickets, you must complete daily quests. And these are located in:
- Vvardenfell or Clockwork City
- Summerset
The daily quests for Summerset can be obtained in the city of Alinor from the two NPCs Tanorian and Farowel. In the Clockwork City, you need to go to the Brass Fortress. Right at the way shrine, you will find the NPCs who will provide you with daily quests. In Vvardenfell, you get the quests from the Ashlanders.
But before you can do that, you must fulfill one requirement:
Daily Quests from the Ashlanders – First, complete the questline “The Band of the Ancients” in Ald’ruhn.
Daily Quests in the Clockwork City – First, complete the questline “Lost in Always Gray”.
Special offers in the Crown Store
In the Crown Store, you will currently find a lot of nice fluff that fits the event. For example, you will find two new assistants. In keeping with the style of the Clockwork City, there is now the Factotum Property Manager (Banker) and the Factotum Commerce Delegate (Merchant).

Both are priced at a proud 5,000 crowns each. However, a mobile merchant and banker are indeed a practical thing. If you want to match your assistants, then these two are ideal for you.
