The Greymoor addon has brought some changes to the vampire in The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO). But besides its combat power, it is also great for farming. We at MeinMMO show you a build that allows you to run fast and get rich.
In May, The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) received the new expansion Greymoor on PC. Since today, June 10th, console players can also play it on PS4 and Xbox One.
The update brought some changes to vampires. We want to introduce you to a build that allows you to get started with your new vampire.
What kind of build is this? This build is called “Speedy G”, is based on movement speed and gold farming, and originally comes from player Alcast, who has experimented a lot in ESO and often has helpful tips. We at MeinMMO do not want to withhold these from you, as the build is easily attainable and requires little time and money investment.

The fastest vampire from Mexico
What requirements do you need? On the one hand, you must be a vampire, but level 1 is enough. We at MeinMMO explain in our guide several ways to become a bloodsucker.
Additionally, it is beneficial to play a Nightblade. They benefit from their ability to become invisible.
You can also play the build with another class, but then you need to bring your vampire to level 4 or higher. At that level, you gain the talent “Unnatural Movement”, which allows you to become invisible while sprinting for more than 3 seconds. Additionally, you will need to compensate for a few deficiencies with equipment and skills.
What is the core of the build? With this skill setup and equipment, you achieve maximum speed of 200%. Higher is not possible in ESO. The catch is that you only reach it while sneaking and not just while sprinting.
With the appropriate equipment, you lose hardly any resources, so you can remain in sneak mode continuously. This way, you can move quickly across the map and avoid most fights.
How do you get rich with it? Ideally, you collect treasure chests or materials with this build, from which you can craft items to sell.
This way, you can earn up to 90,000 gold per hour. Ultimately, what you get out of it depends on your luck and the level of your crafting skills.
The skills and equipment in the guide
Which skills do you need to pack? With this build, speed is primarily what you are focusing on. Ideally, you don’t get into fights at all. Your most important skill is “Dark Stalker”. This allows you to lift the restriction when sneaking and sneak at normal movement speed.
Another important ability is “Hidden Blade”. As long as you have that equipped, you can run 25% faster while sneaking. You will find it in the “Shadow” skill tree of your Nightblade.
To extract even more speed from your vampire, there are several options. One option is the additional skills:
- Defensive Maneuver – Gives you 30% speed. However, the buff only lasts for 7 seconds, and you will be slightly thrown out of your invisibility for a brief moment. You can find the skill in the “Assault” skill tree of the Alliance War.
- Concentrated Momentum – Also gives you 30% movement speed. This time for 12 seconds and without kicking you out of stealth. You can find this skill in the Psijic Order skill tree.

What equipment do you need? Ultimately, you are not necessarily constrained when it comes to your equipment with this build. What matters is that you focus on speed. The rarity is also not necessarily relevant. However, we at MeinMMO still have a few recommendations for you.
A very affordable way to assemble your gear is as follows:
- 5x Breaker – This gives you 10% movement speed in all circumstances
- 5x Darloc Brae Outfit – This grants you 670 health and 670 Magicka and Stamina back every second as long as you are sneaking and not blocking.
- 2x any Monster Set, e.g. The Bloodspawn – This gives you resistances when you take damage
- 3x Quick Transmutation Jewelry – At a purple item level, this adds, for example, 5%, totaling 15% additional speed
Which item you have in which slot is not that important. What matters is that you complete your set bonuses. This is especially true for the 5 pieces of Breaker and Darloc Brae.
Are there alternatives? Without additional skills and most set bonuses, you can also reach your speed cap of 200%. However, this is somewhat more difficult than the previously presented method. You would need the Mythic item Ring of the Wild Hunt for this.
You obtain this through the new antiquity system that came with Greymoor to ESO. The ring provides you with an additional 45% speed as long as you are out of combat and 15% while inside. However, it is not a must; you can compensate for this with the listed skills and sets.
With the Ring of the Wild Hunt and the skills mentioned above, you can do without almost everything else. Since you can easily reach 200% this way, you can play the build with entirely different equipment. However, for your resource management, we at MeinMMO still recommend the Darloc Brae set.
You can get even more out of it
What else do you need? Besides the skills and equipment, there are a few other important puzzle pieces:
- Mundus Stone: The Steed – This buff grants you 10% more movement speed
- Buff food: Longfin Pasty with Melon Sauce. This increases your three main stats: health, stamina, and Magicka. Moreover, it is easy to obtain
- Champion Points:
- Abundant Harvest – This allows you to gather double the amount when lucky
- Master Gatherer – This lets you gather faster
- Both can be found in “The Lover”
Which race is sensible for this? The Khajiit are the most suitable race. This grants you additional bonuses to sneaking, making you less likely to be detected. The Khajiit are also high up in your ranking of the most popular races in ESO.
However, you can also choose any other race. The recommendations here are only for the optimal result. Race and class are always up to your preference; this build is possible with any combination, just a bit adjusted to your play style.
