The MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online has now 36 updates. By 2023, new item sets have been added that you can find in the open world. We at MeinMMO show you where you can find each set in which area.
In ESO, item sets (sets for weapons, equipment, and jewelry) are distinguished by locations or if they are craftable. You also need a different number of items to unlock the last effect of the set. The number varies between 2 to 5 pieces.
These categories exist in item sets:
- Craftable Sets (5 pieces)
- Dungeon Sets (5 pieces)
- Monster Sets (2 pieces)
- Sets from Raids and Trials (5 pieces)
- Sets from Arenas (2 pieces)
- Open World Sets (5 pieces)
- Aldmeri Dominion Sets
- Ebonheart Pact Sets
- Daggerfall Covenant Sets
- DLC Area Sets
- PvP Sets (5 pieces)
- PvP Sets from Cyrodiil
- PvP Sets from Battlegrounds
- PvP Sets from the Imperial City
- Mythic Items (1 piece)
In this article, we deal with all sets of the open world. You can obtain set pieces from world bosses, bosses in public dungeons or vaults, or from dark anchors from the reward chest. You can also exchange your alliance points (AP) with the NPC in Cyrodiil for containers that contain open world sets.
In each area, you can usually find 3 different sets. What type of equipment piece you get is random, but there are different probabilities depending on the loot source. Here you can see which set pieces you can get more frequently where:
- Waist & Feet: Dungeon Bosses
- Head, Chest, Legs & Weapons: World Bosses
- Shoulder, Hands & Weapons: Bosses (Public Dungeon)
- Jewelry: World Events (Anchors, Geysers, Volcanic Vents, etc.)
