On March 24, the NDA of the online shooter Escape from Tarkov ends. From then on, everyone may publish videos from the current version, post screenshots, and hold livestreams.
Escape from Tarkov is rapidly approaching beta. In preparation for this next major testing phase, the NDA will fall on March 24, which has so far prevented the posting of videos and screenshots from the alpha. However, there have been some exceptions for certain YouTubers. But from March 24, everyone can stream as they please.
Videos and screenshots may only be published without watermark
However, everyone has to start from scratch. It is not allowed to publish previously recorded videos or created screenshots. These currently still display a watermark, which will be removed with an update on March 24. Only material without this watermark may be published. This is quite frustrating for some YouTubers. Nevertheless, we will likely see many videos about the game soon, as well as follow streams and read reports.
Beta seems to be not far away
The reactions to the decision are mostly positive so far. The streamers and YouTubers are happy that they can finally show material from the game, even if it means that everything recorded so far was for nothing. While some are annoyed about it, the joy of finally being allowed to stream seems to prevail.
Moreover, with the lifting of the NDA, beta is not far away, which many fans of Escape from Tarkov are looking forward to. However, the date for the beta is not yet set.
