What is this about? In recent years, more and more publishers have decided to release their own launchers. Whether it’s for financial reasons or because publishers want all their games in one place, the number of different launchers continues to grow. Recent examples include launchers from Epic, Bethesda, Rockstar Games, and CD Projekt Red.
However, such specific launchers are not always welcomed by gamers. Many players are annoyed that they have to run more and more programs on their PCs to play all the games.
For others, it doesn’t matter whether there’s an extra icon on the desktop or not. They just want to play their games, regardless of whether they are exclusive to a particular launcher or not.
