A curious end to a round in Fortnite: Battle Royale has the crowd going wild. The corresponding video of this scene is currently making the rounds and has already been viewed more than 4 million times.
That the so-called “Stairway to Heaven strategy” is dangerous has already been discussed in detail. The player in the following video did it anyway. With only a few hit points left, the opponent on the ground not really visible and probably with a lot of hit points.
A pretty hopeless situation – one would think. Because the player quickly pulls out his shotgun and … just jumps into the abyss. As he has no idea where the opponent is located, the victory will be decided by a jump into the unknown and a shot into nowhere.

The reactions to this admittedly lucky victory are overwhelming – the crowd goes absolutely wild. Whether it was the player’s first win is not known – however, friends are ecstatic about this quirky success.
