The team at Keen Games, the developers behind the German survival hit Enshrouded, has revealed the roadmap for 2026. The full release has been postponed by about six months.
What is the occasion? Enshrouded is celebrating its anniversary. It has now been 2 years since the launch in Early Access on Steam, during which the game has unfortunately still not been released as a full version. This is set to change in 2026, as the complete release is planned for the fall of this year.
The development team has released a roadmap for the anniversary, showing all content planned for 2026. In addition to the announcement on Steam, there is a video with Creative Director Antony Christoulakis, which you can watch on YouTube.

What can I expect? In the future, players will be able to share their own worlds with the community. Furthermore, quest progression and gameplay are set to be improved across all hardware configurations.
Additionally, there will be a new location with fresh enemies at the full release. Finally, the console release for Enshrouded will also follow.
To celebrate the day, there is not only a new roadmap but also new Twitch drops. You can collect these from the Huntress after Patch 13 is released.
When will new content come? The roadmap is divided into 2 parts. Update 0.8 will be released in spring 2026. In fall 2026, the full release of version 1.0 will take place.
However, the developers note that updates to the roadmap can still be made throughout the year. So, the release for fall 2026 is not set in stone and can still change if plans fall behind schedule.
