Soon, the start date for the open beta of the post-apocalyptic anime MMORPG Soulworker will be announced. Then you will dive into the fight against “extradimensional” beings. Fans have been waiting for more than 2 years for it to finally start.
So-called extradimensional creatures are pouring out of a wormhole and destroying the Earth. Only a group of youthful heroes, equipped with special powers, can face this threat and save the people… Wait a minute, this sounds somewhat like the recently launched MMORPG Closers. But this is about Soulworker, which also looks remarkably similar to the competition.
Fans have been waiting for a date from publisher Gameforge since April 2016, and now it should finally be time.

Post-apocalypse and divine powers
You select one of several heroes at the beginning and pay attention to what powers they possess. It’s best to choose heroes in such a way that you complement each other in the group. Now it’s time to explore the post-apocalyptic city and hunt the monsters that want to lay waste to the Earth. Equipped with the favor of the gods, you can defeat these beings in action-packed battles. The events are presented to you in colorful anime style.

Beta starts soon
The open beta of Soulworker was actually supposed to start at the end of 2017, but had to be postponed. It has now been announced that fans will soon find out when the testing phase begins. Interested players can look forward to the following:
- The beta will start via Steam
- You will play on US or EU servers
- The voice acting will be in Korean with German subtitles
- The MMORPG will be released as a free-to-play game
- After launch, additional heroes and PvP will be introduced
So be excited about when the open beta of Soulworker starts and how this anime MMO will differ from the competitor Closers.
