Fortnite will soon be visited by one of the biggest rappers there is: Eminem. Many fans celebrate the collaboration between the artist and Epic Games, but one thing really stinks to the players.
What can players expect? In Season: OG, a major collaboration with the well-known rapper “Eminem” will start soon. He has created a series of skins in collaboration with Fortnite that players can purchase in the Item Shop in the coming days.
In addition, players are expected to participate in the live event with Eminem at the end of Season: OG. Whether this will be a big concert or just an appearance is not yet known. Finally, Eminem has taken over a radio station in Battle Royale, where famous songs by the rapper can be played and listened to.
So this is a major collaboration, and although players are excited, many are skeptical about the skins. Some fans even speak of greed that Epic Games has fallen into.

What annoys the players about it? In a blog post by Epic Games, the developer is already promoting three upcoming skins for Eminem (via fortnite.com). They are as follows:
- Rap Boy
- Slim Shady
- Marshall Never More
In the past, Epic Games has collaborated with many well-known faces, such as streamers or musicians and has immortalized them with skins in Fortnite. However, these were usually just 1 to a maximum of 2 skins with additional styles that players could purchase.
In contrast, according to the post, there are supposed to be 3 skins for Eminem that can be purchased separately. This annoys the players because it seems much more like a nasty trick to get money out of their pockets with the “same” star. On Reddit, user “gingerchrs” complains that it is very greedy of Epic to exploit Eminem like this and charge money for it.
What do the players say? Fans are still unsure how to interpret the blog post. Many hope that this is only about additional styles of Eminem and that only 1 skin needs to be purchased, while others see a nasty trick by Epic to make money. The following comments can be heard:
