Some resourceful users on Reddit have revealed a secret that the production of the third season of 7 vs. Wild probably wanted to keep hidden. A participant spot is said to have been only 400 meters away from a resort hotel.
What’s the deal with the distance to the hotel? A thread is currently going viral in the largest subreddit for 7 vs. Wild. There, pictures and evidence are being gathered to show that the wildcard winners, Ann-Kathrin “Affe auf Bike” Bendixen and Hannah Assil, were only 400 meters away from a dock of a resort hotel.

Viewers Gather Evidence
What kind of evidence have the viewers found? The hotel resort itself has published a map on their website showing the drop-off locations of the participants. There, the resort is located about between the teams Affe auf Bike and Hannah, as well as Knossi and Sascha.
However, on a map of the drop-off locations, as shown in episode 1 on YouTube, the island is not visible. Some viewers therefore suspect that the island may have been photoshopped out to hide its proximity to civilization.
Efficient-State-3355 comments: “I also find it interesting that the overview graphic of 7 vs. Wild does not show the island with the resort at all. The similarly sized Pine Island further north is included, though. Perhaps this could also simply be an error in the graphic creation, as Malei Island is also missing in the standard view of Google Maps and is only visible in satellite view.”

What other clues have the fans found? Some viewers have also noticed that in shots of Affe auf Bike, a boat dock is visible in the background.
In other “evidence photos,” Reddit users compared images from the making-of and the main series with images of the resort and pictures from Google. They claim to have established that the drop-off location of the team must have been within sight of the hotel resort.
According to our own research, the aforementioned dock, which belongs to the resort, is less than 400 meters away in a direct line from the shown drop-off point of the team.

How are users reacting to the alleged discoveries? The community on Reddit is outraged. Just recently, Fritz Meinecke confronted the production company, and now there is already another accusation.
