The space simulation Elite: Dangerous is coming to Sony’s console PS4.
In at most half a year, the MMO Elite:Dangerous is supposed to come to the PS4. The release is scheduled for “sometime in the second quarter of 2017”.
When the game comes to the PS4, expansions like “Horizons” will already be included. Additionally, the developers at Frontier plan to support the PS4 Pro. It will be a complete port, and the controls will be adapted for the DualShock 4. For example, the touchpad will be able to be assigned four hotkeys.

Further details are expected to follow in the coming months.
Mastermind David Braben spoke a few inspiring words. Elite Dangerous is different from any other game. The galaxy is realistic with its own night sky and the correct physical conditions. The ships feel unique. Players write the history of the universe, which is rapidly evolving lately. Although the galaxy has remained stable for centuries, all of that is changing. Players on the PS4 will have an exciting time in the galaxy, promises Braben.
Elite: Dangerous is considered an epic space opera that reflects exploration in space with all its emptiness and possibilities. Players start with just a small ship and a few ship credits in their pocket and can then shape their careers freely. Gathering knowledge and power.

The game was released in 2014 for PC and has since been developed further with free updates and paid DLCs.
