The space online game Elite: Horizons will be expanded in a few weeks with the first part of the Horizons add-ons.
Fans of Elite: Dangerous have been waiting a long time for Horizons. The add-on is expected to bring a lot of new features. However, it is referred to as the “Season of Expansions,” meaning that not all innovations will be introduced at once, but rather the developers will roll them out gradually. By Christmas this year, the first wave of new features will find its way into the online game.
Explore the secrets of planets
This includes the ability to land on planets. Without loading times, players can then enter the atmosphere of planets and moons with the Scarab as a ship and discover signals, crashed ships, resources, or hidden outposts and fortresses during scanning. These can then be explored or the resources mined.
It is also possible to encounter enemy ships in the atmosphere, leading to new types of combat. All of this brings you a lot of new rewards. You race through deep canyons or over mountain peaks of planets and can even explore the surfaces with an SRV (“Surface Recon Vehicle”).

However, the Horizons expansion series will bring even more. Next year, the multi-crew feature is set to be introduced. You will command large ships together with friends. Some man the guns, while others sit at the helm. This is connected to the introduction of huge motherships equipped with fighters. Your crew can then jump into these fighters during combat and defend your ship in space battles.
Additionally, the developers will introduce the ability to customize your hero in detail. You will then receive a character whose appearance you can determine down to the last detail.
