An exploit in the space online game Elite Dangerous has been closed by the developers, leading to many tears within the community.
Exploit has been closed and players are angry
Players received too much money. The “Massacre Skimmer” missions in Elite Dangerous have been quite popular so far, as they offered an exploit through which players could acquire much more money than was actually intended.
Mission count is being limited. To curb the exploit, each Commander can now only accept 5 Skimmer missions at the same time.
Players are angry. Many players are unhappy with this change. They criticize the developers in the forum and express their disappointment. Reactions in the official game forum include:

- “If only you were as quick at fixing bugs…”
- “I am constantly amazed at how poorly Frontier Developments manages its own game.”
But there are also positive voices. Not everyone finds the change bad. Some players also show understanding.
