Those who fight in PvP with light armor should take a look at the Spell Strategist set. But even in PvE, Spell Strategist shows its strength.
Spell Strategist increases Magicka
Why is Spell Strategist so strong? The complete set grants you the following bonuses. The numbers refer to the number of armor pieces you wear from the set.
- 2: Your maximum Magicka is increased.
- 3: You gain increased Magicka power
- 4: Your Magicka power is further enhanced.
- 5: When you deal damage with a light attack, your target is marked for 5 seconds. This mark grants you 500 Magicka power against the target. The effect can occur once every 4 seconds.
Because the effect can reoccur every 4 seconds and is activated with each light attack, it can theoretically be maintained permanently. This fact makes the set very strong in PvP and PvE. Spell Strategist allows for a significant amount of magical damage to be inflicted on the opponent.
Why is high Magicka power strong? Higher values in Magicka power increase the damage you deal with Magicka skills or weapons to your enemies.
The set is only available in PvP
How can I obtain Spell Strategist? Spell Strategist is a PvP set. You can obtain it through “Just Reward”.
A post-message with “Just Reward” is received once you have collected a certain number of alliance points in PvP. The YouTuber AlexOs recommends farming the set best through the Battlegrounds.
A strong combination against other players
Spell Strategist and Siroria: Especially in combination with another set, Spell Strategist can shine. Items from the “Cloak of Siroria” set can be obtained in the Trial Cloudrest or by completing the weekly trial quest.
The “Cloak of Siroria” set grants you the following benefits:
- 2: You gain Magicka power
- 3: You receive an effect that increases damage against NPCs in dungeons, trials, and arenas by 5%.
- 4: Your maximum Magicka is increased
- 5: When you deal direct damage to an enemy with a single-target ability, you create a fire ring under you for 10 seconds. This fire ring grants you 5 seconds of a stack of Siroria’s Bounty, which increases your Magicka power by 30 per stack. You can have a maximum of 20 stacks, and the effect can reoccur every 10 seconds.
If you wear both sets in combination, you can significantly increase your Magicka power through the combination of light attacks and single-target abilities and thus make your opponents’ health points dwindle.
According to the YouTuber AlexOs, a combination of both sets is advisable in PvP.
