In the fantasy MMO The Elder Scrolls Online, TESO, update 5 is so large that the developers are now providing players with a checklist of what they could do on the test server.
The fifth update in TESO is hydra-like. It hisses in every corner, and one doesn’t even know where to start. Players might feel lost due to the numerous changes on the test server. Therefore, Zenimax has now decided to take an unusual step in the forum: they provide players with a kind of guide on what they can do if they want to give feedback to the developers.
The TESO to-do list includes things like:
- Address the veteran edition of the City of Ash – if you’re doing a livestream, it’s best to inform Zenimax beforehand so they can stalk.
- Talk to as many NPCs as possible to check if they are lip-syncing.
- Play a stamina build to see if the improved abilities really make a difference.
- Complete a daily quest of the Daring and see if you’re satisfied with the reward.
The full list with extensive suggestions and feedback guidelines can be found here. Currently, only characters from the North American megaserver can be transferred to the PTS, but Europeans can use pre-made characters.
Mein MMO thinks: Cool idea. However, it seems TESO has forgotten how to get MMO players to work through such lists: Achievements! For next time, we recommend some popping achievements. WildStar presents boom boxes for that.
