The latest DLC Thieves Guild has been released for the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online, and the developers discuss this update and the continuation of the main quest in an interview.
With the freshly released DLC Thieves Guild for PC, a new storyline awaits you that will keep you engaged for about eight to ten hours. The adventures take place in both new areas and old zones. This time, the developers have consciously decided to make the quests a bit “shorter” than they were in the DLC Orsinium. Instead, there are many more daily quests and repeatable missions.
Passive Skills and Assistants

The new skills that you receive as part of the Thieves Guild are passive skills. This was to ensure that activities like stealing and combat can be made more lucrative, but also that these skills do not have a major impact on the PvE and PvP balancing of the game. It is also recognized that not every player wants to be a thief and sneak and steal through the game world.
Players who aren’t interested can still have fun with the storyline of the DLC. As a reward, you can look forward to an assistant that you can summon. The entire group can then interact with this.
The Dark Brotherhood and the Continuation of the Main Story
Furthermore, it has been decided not to offer a respec with every DLC. This would mean having to completely reskill the character each time. However, there are considerations to offer a respec for individual skills in the future, rather than the entire character.
Additionally, the Thieves Guild has nothing to do with the Dark Brotherhood, although the skills of the Dark Brotherhood also affect the game’s legal system. As a member of the Dark Brotherhood, you won’t sneak and steal, but sneak and kill.
A small insight into the continuation of the main story of The Elder Scrolls Online was also given. They see the end as relatively complete, which is why they want to take their time to tell smaller stories before they begin to expand the main story and resolve any loose ends.
