This is how an “Elder Scroll” is created
Bethesda, the developers and publishers of the Elder Scrolls games, commissioned “Volpin Props” to create two replicas of the Elder Scrolls at the end of 2017. And the result is truly impressive!
The artist worked with extreme care. Among other things, he created molds for the individual parts, lovingly added details, and used gemstone replicas. The handle parts of the suspension are wrapped in soft goat leather.
The scroll itself is made of fine linen and inscribed with curious runes and glyphs.
The ideal cosplay prop
In a video, you can see in fast motion how the scroll is created from inconspicuous materials with meticulous care. The finished product was then handed over to the cosplayer April Gloria.
