In the game world of Elden Ring, there are mysterious things to discover at almost every corner. This includes the wizard towers, which only open when certain puzzles are solved. MeinMMO shows you how to discover the Converted Edge Tower.
Where is the Converted Edge Tower located?
- You can find it in the northeast of the Lakes of Liurnia. The path there is not easy to recognize, even with careful study of the map.
- The fastest way is to start from the Site of Grace at the Artist’s House and travel north. Stay along the western cliff and follow it until the bridge gate that leads to the Academy of Raya Lucaria. Continue traveling until you are just before the Dectus lift and turn right towards the east.

But upon arriving at the tower, the path is blocked. The door is obstructed by a magical seal.
If you interact with this door, you will receive the message: “You need to solve the puzzle to enter.” There are no further explanations at first glance. But how do you get inside?
Elden Ring – Solve the puzzle in the Converted Edge Tower
This is what you need to do: You can only open the door with the right gesture and the right mask. You need one of the 3 Glintstone Crowns from House Karolos, House Olivinus, or House Twinwise.
The easiest mask to find is the one from House Karolos. It is also found in the Academy of Raya Lucaria. Start the search from the Site of Grace in the Classroom.
Enter the courtyard, cross it while keeping left. You will pass by a door, but ignore it. Now turn left and follow the path until you find the corpse with the item.
Now you need to obtain the gesture.
- The gesture is the “Scholarship” emote that you receive from the NPC Thops in the Church of Irith. To do this, you must give him the Glintstone Key from the Academy of Raya Lucaria.
- However, you can miss him if you progress too far in the game. Therefore, you should bring the key to him as soon as possible after you find it.
- The required key can be found on the rooftops of the Academy. This is the large Legacy Dungeon, at the center of Liurnia.

Once you have the gesture and one of the masks, you can go to the sealed door. Put on the mask and perform the gesture. Now the door should open.
What is the reward? You will receive the two spells Haimas Cannon and Haimas Hammer. Haimas Cannon is especially powerful and also hits a large area.
