Fear the Wolves is a new battle royale shooter that aims to bring fresh air into the genre with PvE elements. You will learn how that works today if you join the launch of the early access version on Steam.
Early Access Begins
Battle Royale with Werewolves: Fear the Wolves is essentially a battle royale shooter where you fight against each other on a large but steadily shrinking game field until only one player remains.
However, dangerous wolf mutants are making the area unsafe. You will also have to fight these beasts.
Additionally, dynamic weather and suddenly appearing dangerous radiation anomalies ensure that you constantly need to adjust your tactics. Radiated areas have to be explored with protective clothing for useful loot.
Start of the Early Access Phase: On August 28, the early access phase of the online shooter begins after it was recently postponed due to feedback from beta testers. The developers state that they have now implemented this feedback.
The early access starts today at 7 PM on Steam.
How to Join: If you want to play, you can buy the early access version for €19.99 on Steam. The early access is now live. Then, you can download the client directly through Steam and get started.
Official Release No Longer in 2018: The early access phase of Fear the Wolves is set to run throughout the year. The official release is planned for 2019. The developers will announce an exact date later.
Console versions will also only be playable next year.
