EA Sports FC 24: Recognizing Walkouts – Pay Attention to These Animations

In the FIFA successor EA Sports FC 24, there are brand new pack animations. But how can one recognize a walkout early? We will show you!

What is a walkout anyway? A walkout refers to players that appear when opening a pack and walk through the image. However, this only happens with highly rated players with a rating of at least 86.

But there is always a way to tell if it is a walkout, even before the player appears on the screen. In FIFA 23, for example, the spotlights and the camera movement played an important role at the start of the pack opening.

In EA Sports FC 24, you can once again pay attention to details to see what kind of card you can expect at the end of the animations. We will show you what to look out for.

Spotlights in the background reveal how good the card will be

Here’s how to recognize the different card types: As in previous years, the pack animations this year are also quite short. Therefore, you have little time to recognize how strong the best card of the pack will be.

It is important to pay attention to the area on the bottom right next to the pack. At the very beginning of the opening, light beams announce the rating of the card.

This is how the animations differ:

• Rating 75-82: Light beams appear on the right next to the pack right at the beginning and are hardly noticeable.
• Rating 83-85: Clearly recognizable light beams appear on the right next to the pack at the beginning.
• Walkout 86+: Almost invisible light beams appear on the right next to the pack right at the beginning. They are noticeably darker than with the other ratings.

Recognizing a walkout in FC 24 is certainly not easy, as the lights from the spotlights do not differ much. However, you can most easily recognize a walkout just before the player reveals.

When the card appears, it begins to sparkle in the middle. Here, a lot of sparkling = walkout.
