When is the release of EA FC 24? EA Sports FC 24 will officially be released on September 29, 2023. The exception is Early Access – that starts on September 22, 2023.
Who is on the cover of EA FC 24? Haaland will be featured on the cover of the standard edition of EA FC 24. The cover of the Ultimate Edition has already been revealed.
What kind of game is this? EA Sports FC 24 is the successor to the FIFA series, after EA and FIFA could not agree on further collaboration.
This marks a new era for the series, starting with EA FC 24. The game was officially presented by EA Sports in Amsterdam and via livestream.

The key changes from the EA Sports FC 24 reveal
Basically, some familiar elements, such as the large licensing package full of leagues and players from the FIFA series, are returning. However, EA Sports also presented some changes that players can look forward to in the new game.
Ultimate Team with stars from women’s football
This year, women’s football will become part of Ultimate Team, including Hero and Icon cards. This will bring plenty of new female players into the game, who can then be used as cards in FUT. Six new leagues are on board.
It will officially be possible to create mixed teams (via ea.com).
Evolution
in Ultimate Team
A new system called Evolution was briefly introduced. This is supposed to allow players in Ultimate Team to be upgraded throughout the season. This way, you can build real club legends.
How extensive this will be and what it means for special cards remains to be seen.
Gameplay with Hypermotion V
EA spoke of the most authentic football game ever. Hypermotion V is the new version of EA Sports’ animation technique, which is now based on data from over 180 professional matches, including those from the Champions League. This will bring a lot of new animations that will change the game.
Play Styles
This is a new system that EA has developed in collaboration with the football database Opta. Based on this data, players will be assigned Play Styles
that determine how stars behave in the game. These characteristic skills will also play a role in Ultimate Team.
Crossplay in online modes
Information about crossplay can already be found on EA’s website. Crossplay will apparently be extended to all online modes, including Clubs, Coop Seasons, Volta, and FUT Coop.
It will still be available in Ultimate Team (online modes), friendlies, and online seasons. PS5 can play with Xbox Series X|S and PC, while PS4 can play with Xbox One. The Switch is excluded.
New deals with leagues
EA Sports stated together with stars like Alex Scott, Figo, and Ronaldinho that further deals have been made with leagues.
Player Alex Scott confirmed that two new women’s leagues will be added: The Frauen-Bundesliga and the first division of women’s football in Spain. Successful women’s teams like Wolfsburg are included.
Furthermore, EA Sports has made a new deal with the Premier League to realistically represent the players, clubs, and arenas of the league over the years. A new partnership has also apparently been established with the Champions League.
How this will ultimately appear in the game remains to be seen. However, the following transfers for EA Sports FC 24 are certainly exciting.
