A strange bug in EA Sports FC 24 is currently making the rounds: Apparently, the card of Ada Hegerberg is broken and brings with it a problem that has not been seen before.

EA Sports FC Direct Communicationchannel on Twitter/X reported back with an update. The problem is now under investigation. In the meantime, players who have Ada Hegerberg in their team cannot start a match until the card has been removed from the team.
For players who have drawn Hegerberg in the draft, the draft will be reset and they will receive a draft token as compensation in the coming days (via Twitter/X).
This card is about: Ada Hegerberg is one of the best players in the French league and plays for Olympique Lyon. In 2018, the striker even won the title of World Player of the Year, and in the new EA Sports FC 24, she received a really strong rating.
With her 89-rated card, she has one of the highest ratings in Ultimate Team, and the card also impresses with strong shooting and dribbling values, as well as a weak foot with 4 stars and 4 more stars for skill moves.

Skill moves trigger strange bug
This is the problem: As several players have now noticed, there seems to be a bug with Hegerberg’s card. As soon as a skill move is performed with the striker, the ball suddenly remains still, and the player runs off without it.

In tests conducted by the editorial team, we found that the problem does not only relate to Ultimate Team but also affects the kickoff mode.
What does this mean for you? While you can still run, pass, and shoot normally with Hegerberg, the risk of encountering the bug and thus a sudden loss of the ball is high. This is particularly frustrating when you are just about to score against the opponent and could actually take the lead.
Currently, the card costs about 20,000 coins on the transfer market, which is quite cheap for an 89-rated card. But for now, it’s probably better to avoid using her in the team. You should also be careful in the draft if you are offered the card.
What makes the bug special? It is particularly unusual that such a bug affects a single card in EA Sports FC 24. Over the course of the FIFA series, strange bugs have appeared from time to time, but that a specific card is faulty in this way is unusual.
Hegerberg herself has also noticed this and humorously reacted to the bug (via X / Twitter):
The developers at EA have not yet commented on the issue. Therefore, what the bug is due to and how soon it will be fixed is still unknown. We will keep you updated as new information becomes available.
