EA Sports FC 24 celebrates release, but its predecessors disappear: All FIFA titles have been removed from the stores.
This is happening with EA FC 24: EA FC 24 celebrates its official release date this week, which also makes the standard edition playable. Previously, players could only start via the early access in EA FC 24.
The release of EA FC 24 is accompanied by a farewell, as EA has now removed all FIFA titles from the stores, as several media report (via Dexerto).
All FIFAs gone: If you search now, for example, in the Microsoft Store, the PS Store, or on Steam for “FIFA”, you will not find the offshoots of the football series anymore.
It doesn’t seem to be an error or anything similar, as on Steam you find the following notice on the page for FIFA 23:
“At the publisher’s request, EA SPORTS™ FIFA 23 is no longer listed on Steam and will not appear in searches” (via Steam).
There is one exception: Those who have an EA Play subscription can still access FIFA 22 and FIFA 23 in the catalog.
What does this mean if I still want to play FIFA?
Can I still play FIFA 23? If you have already purchased the game, you are currently not affected – and this should also apply to previous titles. In our editorial test, FIFA 23 and FIFA 22 were still playable, even with the FUT mode, for example, you could still connect.
However, if you want to purchase the game (or another part of the FIFA series) anew, you will search in vain. Currently, you only have the option of EA Sports FC 24 or buying a physical copy in stores.
Why is EA Sports removing FIFA? There is still no official information on this. Fans speculate that this might also have to do with the expiration of the FIFA license and EA, leading to the original farewell to the FIFA series and the switch to EA Sports FC. However, this is not confirmed. We will keep you updated as soon as new information becomes available.

What’s inside EA Sports FC 24? Even though the name has changed, EA FC 24 is still very close to its predecessors. The familiar modes, players, stadiums, leagues, and many licenses are still on board. In terms of gameplay, you will quickly get used to EA FC if you have played FIFA 23.
However, there are some innovations. An insight into the new EAFC is presented here:
