This date FIFA 20 will be presented: EA Sports will officially present the new installment of the FIFA series on Saturday, June 8, 2019. The game will be shown via livestream, which you can follow on the EA website, YouTube, or Twitch.
This time, the stream runs: The EA Play stream begins at 6:15 PM German time with an opening show. In addition to FIFA, other games such as Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Apex Legends, or Battlefield V will also be covered. The FIFA presentation is scheduled to start at 8:00 PM.
However, it does no harm to keep an eye on the EA site beforehand. Because: In the official announcement, a countdown is running, which ends on Saturday at 4:00 PM German time. If there is no mistake here, it is quite possible that EA will reveal some information ahead of the stream.

This is already known about FIFA 20
This has already been announced by EA: EA Sports released a short teaser for FIFA on Twitter. However, it only shows the title of the game, a triangular graphic, and a football field. Then follows the date of EA Play.
What is behind the graphic? The symbol also appears on the official FIFA 20 page but is not explained in more detail. EA also speaks of a “game-changing announcement.” What it is about is still open at this time.
What to expect in FIFA 20
This is what FIFA 20 wants to do differently: There is still not much official information. However, EA announced that it would revise several features that fans criticized in FIFA 19. These include:
- the AI defensive behavior,
- the Timed Finishing mechanic
- and the chaining of tricks.
The community reacted with delight, that the criticism is being acknowledged. However, many had already wished for these changes in FIFA 19. All announced changes can be found here:
When will FIFA 20 be released? As usual, FIFA 20 is expected to be released at the end of September. Amazon has already listed the release of the Switch version for September 28, which EA has not yet confirmed. An official date should be provided on Saturday.
Which player will be on the cover? In FIFA 19, Cristiano Ronaldo was featured on the cover – at least at the beginning. Over the course of the season, he was, however, replaced by Neymar, Kevin De Bruyne, and Paulo Dybala. And who will grace the cover of FIFA 20?
There is still no official information here either. It is possible that this year’s installment will come with a surprise. A survey indicated that Heung-Min Son would be a favorite among fans. After Liverpool’s Champions League win, Mohamed Salah would also be a strong contender:
What new features are also expected? After the story mode “The Journey” with Alex Hunter came to an end in FIFA 19, a major mode is missing. Here, the “game-changing announcement” could play a role: Will FIFA 20 bring a completely new single-player mode? Or will we get a new story presented?
Furthermore, fans are hoping for even more content regarding teams, players, and co. High on the wish list is the hope for more “face scans” – that is the realistic representation of individual player faces. The community would also be pleased about a few new leagues:
