When does EA Sports FC 25 come out? The official release of FC 25 is on September 27, 2024. It will be available for PC (Steam, Epic, EA App), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.
Early Access started on Friday, September 20, 2024.
What editions are available? You can choose between the cheaper Standard Edition for at least €70 and the Ultimate Edition with some pre-order bonuses for at least €100 on the popular platforms (PC, Playstation, Xbox). If you pre-order the Ultimate Edition, you can also play 7 days earlier, starting from September 20.

What does the EA Sports FC 25 Standard Edition offer? If you pre-order the Standard Edition, you will receive the following pre-order bonuses:

- Loan player item for Football Ultimate Team

- Player career personal points
- 3 ICONs in the pro career
- 5-star coach in management career
- 5-star youth scout in management career
What are the benefits of the Ultimate Edition for FC 25? If you pre-order the Ultimate Edition, in addition to the contents of the Standard Edition, you will receive additional pre-order bonuses:
- 7 days early access
- 4,600 FC Points
- Pro Evolution slot
- Early access rush bonuses in Football Ultimate Team and Clubs (formerly Pro Clubs)
- 3 additional Icons in career mode: David Beckham, Zinédine Zidane, Ronaldo
Everyone who pre-orders the Ultimate Edition by August 20, 2024, will receive a non-exchangeable one of the 13 new Heroes for Ultimate Team, which will receive an upgrade to the Prime version in November.
Is the Ultimate Edition worth it? Essentially, the Ultimate Edition is actually more interesting for UT players, as that is where most of the additional bonuses are aimed.
Overall, the biggest advantage of the Ultimate Edition is likely to be the early access. So if you want to gain an advantage in Ultimate Team by being able to earn your first rewards early, then the Ultimate Edition is the only option for that.
Speaking of rewards for Ultimate Team: You can earn them much better in FC 25 with your friends
If you can wait a bit and not just want to play Ultimate Team, but also value the career mode or Clubs, then the Standard Edition should be sufficient for you.
