Update, October 25 at 7:00 PM: The Trailblazers event is now live and brings new special cards into the game. As expected, these come with new PlayStyles as well as new player roles.

When does Trailblazers start? The Trailblazers event starts on Friday evening, October 25, 2024, at 7:00 PM in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team. This is the usual event time when most new content comes to EA FC.
This is indicated by a new loading screen when starting Ultimate Team.
What kind of event is this? We are already familiar with the Trailblazers event from FC 24. Back then, it was all about the brand new PlayStyles. Cards received completely new PlayStyles and PlayStyles+ as well as boosted stats.
How exactly Trailblazers will unfold this year is still unknown. However, the loading screen suggests that, in addition to PlayStyles, the new player roles could also play an important role.
For example, we might see completely new roles for players.
