In EA FC 25, a very special card has been released with the Team of the Year (TOTY). Everyone who plays Ultimate Team until February 14 will receive a special version of the French midfield icon Zidane. You can upgrade this card four times in the Evolutions (EVOs) if you are a Club Member. We will explain the most important information on Mein MMO.
Here’s how to qualify for the Zidane evolution: To develop the new TOTY Era 2002 card of Zidane, you need the status of a Club Member in FC 25. You become a Club Member if you logged into Ultimate Team at least once before October 31, 2024 (via EA Sports).
If you meet this requirement, after launching Ultimate Team on your platform, you can first pick up the EVO in the shop and add it to your club. After that, you return to the shop and open your TOTY Era 2002 pack, from which you will receive the new Zidane card.
How do you activate the Zidane Evolution? After that, go to the EVO menu of Ultimate Team and navigate to the tab “Cosmetic and Exclusive Content” to activate the new evolution for Zidane. You must do this by March 13, 2025, otherwise the EVO will expire.

Stronger than the base icon: The Zidane evolution is this good
The EVO consists of a total of 4 levels, which can be easily completed in Squad Battles or Rush. The tasks for each level are the same:
- Win 2 matches in Rush, Rivals, Champions, or Squad Battles (difficulty: at least semi-professional) using Zidane.
- Play 3 matches in Rush, Rivals, Champions, or Squad Battles (difficulty: at least semi-professional) using Zidane.
You need at least 12 matches for the complete EVO. Your Zidane will receive the following upgrades after completing all levels:
- Overall rating: +4
- Shooting: +8
- Passing: +2
- Dribbling: +2
- Defending: +4
- Physical: +4
- New PlayStyles
- Techniques
- Extended Pass
- New PlayStyle+
- Through Ball
- New Player Roles
- Engine++
- Wing++
- Shadowstorm Pro++
- Classic 10
That’s why the Zidane EVO is better than the base icon: Compared to the regular icon of the French playmaker, the new Zidane evolution impresses with +3 pace, +4 shooting, +12 defending, and +2 physical. Moreover, it has two new PlayStyle+: Acrobatics+ and Through Ball+.
Only in passing (-4) and dribbling (-2) does the Zidane Evolution have to accept reductions compared to the standard version.
