In EA FC 24 a new event has appeared. Winter Wildcards will accompany you with daily SBCs, new special cards, and plenty of other content over the upcoming holidays. Here you will find out everything you need to know about the new promo.
What is the Winter Wildcards event? Winter Wildcards has been a staple of the annual promos in EA FC (formerly FIFA) for several years. The green/greenish special cards with sometimes strong upgrades have become the trademark of this event.
It is also known for the daily new content to explore, for example, in the form of SBCs. This year, EA Sports will also maintain this tradition. The first Winter Wildcards team kicks off the event.

Which players are in Team 1? The first team is already quite impressive, bringing together two former stars, Cristiano Ronaldo and Marco Reus, who have always shone with good cards in the history of Ultimate Team.
However, one Icon steals the show from both of them. The King of Football, Pelé himself, is getting his first special card in EA FC 24. Let’s take a look at the remaining promo players:

What kind of player SBCs can you expect during Winter Wildcards? In the post on X (formerly Twitter), EA has published the schedule for all player SBCs that will appear during the promo in Ultimate Team. This includes not only the special versions of normal gold cards but also special Winter Wildcard Icons that will appear daily.

Unlike in previous years, the player SBCs will be available for a long time, so you have plenty of time to complete them. If you like a player from the list, it’s worth gathering some player materials. This way, you can gradually craft your favorite SBCs with the new rewards from the Weekend League.
Winter Best-Of Cards and Other Highlights
What else can you expect during Winter Wildcards? Until January 01, in addition to the Winter Wildcards, you can also pull cards from the Winter Best-Of team from packs:
- new shop packs, including the popular packs for 10 or 30 coins, which basically gift you a certain number of rare gold players.
- daily login and daily SBC rewards
- thematic SBCs for even more player packs
- new objectives with Winter Wildcards players and/or winter club items
- new cup in friendly match mode for extra rewards (starting Sunday)
