In EA FC 24 you can transform normal cards into special versions with improved stats and additional playstyles using the new Evolutions feature. For a few days now, there are two more categories for this new feature in Ultimate Team.
What new Evolutions are there? The Quick Wing grants an RF improved stats for offense and two new playstyles. To access the Evolutions, you need to spend 50k coins or 1,000 FC Points.
On the other hand, the Defensive Wing-Kante Evolution is free. In this, you can upgrade a silver or bronze player with better stats, a higher defensive work rate, and a new playstyle.
Once activated, you must complete various tasks with your approved Evolution player to receive the upgrades. We will show you which cards are best suited for the new Evolutions.
Two new Evolutions: These are the best options
Below we present three options for both new Evolution upgrades. We evaluate them based on overall strength, individual stats, and linkability. We got support for this from the Evolutions calculator on FUTBIN.
With this new feature, you can identify suitable candidates for all Evolutions, view the required tasks, or check out the cards with the calculated upgrades. In our article about this useful service, we show you what else the Evolutions calculator offers and how to use it best.
Before we recommend the three players for the Evolution upgrades, we clarify the requirements, tasks, and upgrades.

Based on the requirements and potential upgrades, we have the following recommendations for you.
The 3 best options for the Quick Wing Evolution
María Sánchez from 81 to 85 (Houston Dash/NWSL):

María Sánchez embodies a quick wing after the upgrades. Her Evolution card boasts 93 speed, making her truly fast. Additionally, she has excellent dribbling rated at 85.
The card already features five playstyles before the evolution, which increase to 7 after the evolution. Only the linkability is not optimal. Nevertheless, the Evolution card of María Sánchez provides a strong alternative that you can also use as a supersub on the bench.
Malcolm from 81 to 85 (Al Hilal/Saudi Pro League):

The Brazilian impresses with strong speed and dribbling after his upgrade. However, the biggest argument for Malcolm is his Perfect Link to Neymar (same club, same nation).
In general, there are many strong Brazilians in EA FC 24. If you want to build a strong Brazilian wing duo in the long run, you can use Malcolm for the “Quick Wing” evolution.
Lucas Vázquez from 81 to 85 (Real Madrid/LaLiga EA Sports):

You get a true all-rounder with quick feet if you choose Lucas Vázquez. He can be utilized on the right flank both defensively and offensively.
As the Spaniard plays for Real Madrid, he is also excellent for linking. With 4-star skills and 4 stars in precision, he can also be deployed in central midfield or on the left flank.
Below, we continue with our recommendations for the Defensive Wing-Kante Evolution.

For the Defensive Wing-Kante evolution, we recommend the following player.
The 3 best options for the “Defensive Wing-Kante” Evolution
Timothy Weah from 74 to 83 (Juventus Turin/Serie A):

Weah’s upgrades look very interesting. After the full evolution, he has only values above 70. His speed is very good, and his physical and dribbling stats are solid.
In addition to his good linkability as a Juventus player, he has another positive aspect. He can be used as both a right and left defender. Plus, he can play the RM and RF positions, making him particularly valuable for team building.
Joe Scally from 74 to 83 (Borussia Mönchengladbach/Bundesliga):

Another American makes our list. Besides Jeremy Frimpong, there are hardly any good alternatives for the RB position in the Bundesliga.
Joe Scally looks very solid after his upgrade. Especially defensively, you should be on the safe side with him. If you have obtained the RTTK card of Giovanni Reyna, you even get a nationality link for your Bundesliga team with Scally.
DeAndre Yedlin from 70 to 79 (Inter Miami/MLS):

The third American in our recommendations. Yedlin’s speed and physical stats look enticing after the upgrade. If you still have the “Welcome to the Evolutions Upgrades” task open, you can even bring the 79 card up to an 80 overall rating.
Yedlin is currently very sought after in the transfer market, costing around 10k. This is mainly due to his link to teammate Lionel Messi, who best masters the new OP dribbling in EA FC 24.
