This is the Power Shot: The Power Shot was first introduced in FIFA 23 and has returned in EA Sports FC 24.
This is how you use the Power Shot:
- Hold R1 and L1 and then press the shoot button at the same time (PS5 controller)
- Hold RB and LB and press the shoot button (Xbox controller)
It is characterized by being shot extremely powerfully and quickly. The camera even pulls back a bit when you fire the powerful shot to add a visual flair.
This also means that the Power Shot takes a little time to be fired. So only use it when you have enough space from the opponent.

This is different in EA FC 24: You should note that there is a new feature called PlayStyles
in EA FC. These styles give players better abilities for certain movements, passes, shots, and similar actions.
