In EA FC 24, the new Team of the Week (TOTW) has caused quite a surprise. The focus is on a veteran striker who has discovered his qualities as a goalkeeper in his later years.
What is it about? In the match between AC Milan and Genoa, Maik Maignan, the starting goalkeeper of Milan, received a red card in stoppage time. Since the substitution quota of the capital club was already fully exhausted, star striker Olivier Giroud quickly grabbed his keeper’s gloves and jersey.

Also on the popular FIFA site FUTBIN, which offers various fan services and has a database with all players, ratings are almost exclusively positive. About 10,000 fans have given the new TOTW card a “thumbs up”, while only around 100 users have given the card a dislike.
