In EA FC 24, the Fantasy FC event is now live, previously known as FUT Fantasy. We show you the new special cards and what the event is about.

The first team of the Fantasy FC event is now live and brings a whole bunch of new, dynamic cards – including fresh Hero cards. Furthermore, it is now finally known under what criteria the cards will receive upgrades.
Here you can see the new Fantasy FC cards from Team 1 and how the upgrades work.
To receive Inform upgrades, the following criteria must be met in the next 4 league matches.
- 1 goal or an assist for forwards or midfielders
- A game without conceding for goalkeepers and defenders
- 2 victories for the respective team
- The respective player must play three times for his team
- The player’s club must score a total of 11 goals
For the new Fantasy Hero cards, different conditions apply for the coveted IF upgrades:
- The former club of the Hero must win two of the next 4 league matches
- The former club of the Hero must score 11 goals in the next 4 league matches.
When does Fantasy FC start? A new loading screen in EA FC 24 revealed the start date of the new event. It starts today, February 23rd, 2024, at 7:00 PM.
Previously, the event was also hinted at in the new Season Pass.
What is the new event about? More than the start date and the new card design are currently known about the first Fantasy promo in EA FC 24. However, based on previous FUT Fantasy events, Fantasy FC is expected to bring fresh dynamic special cards again this year, which will improve as certain conditions in real football are met.
In FIFA 23, for example, the Fantasy cards received upgrades when the respective player’s team won, forwards contributed to goals, or losses were avoided.
What conditions must be met this time for upgrades and what improvements will actually be made to the new cards is still unknown at this time. We only know that there will be 2 teams again and that new Hero cards will appear alongside the regular special cards.
All leaks and information about Fantasy FC in FC 24
What do the leaks say? EA has not yet officially published the conditions for the upgrades of the new cards. According to a leak from well-known leaker FUT Scoreboard, however, the new cards could receive upgrades for the following conditions:
- Forwards and midfielders scoring 1 goal or an assist in the next 4 games
- The club wins 2 of the next 4 championship matches
- The player participates in 3 of the next 4 championship matches
- The club scores a total of 11 goals in the next 4 championship matches
However, treat this information with caution, as these are merely unconfirmed leaks.
Here are the leaks regarding new cards: The well-known FUT leaker FUTSheriff (via X) has again published some early leaks related to Fantasy FC. Here are the cards the leaker expects for the upcoming event:
