Before the E3 2019 there is a major leak at the publisher Bandai Namco. Among them is the game from From Software, which is being worked on by the author of “Game of Thrones,” George R.R. Martin. Elden Ring will be a fantasy action RPG heavily influenced by Dark Souls.
How was it leaked? The publisher Bandai Namco had a security flaw on their website. This allowed people to access a URL that revealed information and screenshots about games from Bandai Namco.
This led to a massive E3 leak that unveiled three new games.
This link spread across social media. The site Gematsu received this leak and processed it. Now it has blown up overnight while we in Germany peacefully slumbered towards the E3 2019.
Elden Ring
This game has been talked about the most: The new “From Software” game is called Elden Ring. It is a fantasy action-adventure whose world was created by Hidetaka Miyazaki, who is behind the “Dark Souls” series.
He was supported by George R.R. Martin, the author of “A Song of Ice and Fire,” the novel series behind the wildly popular TV series “Game of Thrones.”
The leak emphasizes the roles of George R.R. Martin and Hidetaka Miyazaki and what an impressive work they have to show:
- Miyazaki with Armored Core, Dark Souls and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
- Martin with the 5 novels of “A Song of Ice and Fire” and some TV productions.
There is no further information about the game. It is said to be the largest game from From Software to date and that “danger” lurks around every corner of the world. There should also be a lot to explore.
There are no screenshots or in-game material yet, only the logo is known.
Elden Ring is set to be released for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Tales of Arise
What kind of game is this? “Tales of Arise” is the next chapter in the “Tales of” series. The series of fantasy RPGs has been running since 1995 and now has 16 parts.
Tales of Arise is said to offer “impressive graphics” and be a “dynamic action RPG” with a combat system, as Bandai Namco states.
The game will introduce new characters and is set to be released for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch
The game “Ni no Kuni: The Curse of the White Queen” was released in 2011 in Japan and in 2013 in the USA and Europe. It was a title for the PlayStation 3.
The leak now states two things:
- A version without the “Remastered” label is said to be coming for the Nintendo Switch
- while a remastered version is apparently set to be released for PS4 and PC and will “offer improved graphics and performance”
Players should return to the world of Ni no Kuni and accompany Oliver on an adventure, the leak continues.
In the lead-up to E3 2019, several leaks are expected. This time, it seems one of the “highlights,” Elden Ring, got hit. It was still considered “the big unknown” until yesterday, and it was only rumored whether George R.R. Martin would actually be involved. Now we know for sure.
Just yesterday, the game “Bleeding Edge” was revealed to the public.
