Techland has also released a trailer for the package:
Much Praise for Dying Light 2, but Fans Have Specific Demands
This is how fans react to the trailer: In the comments on the DLC trailer, it’s less about the content and more about the things that many players would wish for.
These include, for example:
- Fixes for numerous blocked quests and other bugs
- A New Game Plus mode for players who want to carry their progress into a new playthrough.
- Nightmare difficulty
- Manual save system
However, there is also a lot of praise for the survival RPG. Many comments express positive thoughts about the main story and its choices, but especially the parkour system is being praised.
This mood of satisfaction and the desire for more is also captured by the comment that currently has the most upvotes:
Please, for God’s sake, give us multiple save slots and the ability to save the game manually! Please! I love this incredible game!
Roy ARJ in the comments of the trailer
There have also already been some confirmations that these wishes will be implemented. It has been strongly hinted that a New Game Plus mode will come after release.
Overall, fans seem to be looking forward to the future of Dying Light 2. By the way, it should look rosy for at least 5 years according to the announcement by developer Techland.
He has already presented a roadmap before release and stated that the game will be supplied with new content at least until 2027.
If everything goes according to plan, you can look forward to many more DLCs for the zombie apocalypse.
The first major story DLC is set to be released in June. By the end of the year, various challenges and events will follow.
