The game Dying Light 2 is highly anticipated by the survival community. However, the release has been postponed again. The developers stated that they want to make some finishing touches. But new insights into the game should be available soon.
When will Dying Light 2 be released? As the developers announced via Twitter, Dying Light 2 Stay Human is set to be released on February 4, 2022. This delays the release by another 3 months.
Initially, it was supposed to be released in 2020, then it was postponed to December 7, 2021.
Why is the game being postponed? According to the official statement, the survival game itself is said to be finished and is already undergoing internal playtests, but there is still work to be done on the finishing touches.
The game is set to be by far TECHLAND’s largest and most ambitious project. Therefore, they decided to postpone it. The studio has previously worked on titles like Dead Island and Call of Juarez.
When will there be new information about the game itself? Those looking forward to Dying Light 2 should expect new information in October. The developers announced that next month content creators and media will be allowed to try the survival game.
They will then be able to share their experiences with interested players.
Additionally, there should be a big announcement in September. What exactly to expect has not yet been disclosed.
For which platforms will Dying Light 2 be released? Dying Light 2 will be released for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, as well as PS4 and Xbox One. On PC, you will have the choice between Steam and the Epic Store.

You will travel to one of the last human settlements left on Earth. You attempt to survive, but quickly find out that the world is simply overrun with zombies.
However, you do not need to have played Dying Light to understand and enjoy the second part.

How has the development of Dying Light 2 gone so far? Rather slowly. The game was announced back in 2018, and in the meantime there was almost a year of complete silence.
