Do you want to get back at your opponent and finish them off once and for all without killing them? Then “Imprisonment” might be for you. This powerful spell has the potential to indefinitely imprison a single target in various ways until the spell is willfully dispelled.
You can magically bury, chain, place your target in a secure prison on a demi-plane, shrink it and transport it into a gemstone, put it into a sleeping spell, or set a trigger that will automatically dispel the spell.
Your target will not need to breathe, eat, or drink, and it will not age. This offers practically unlimited ways to use this spell against opponents, but also in some cases for allies.
Additionally, the spell can only be dispelled if the dispeller casts a counterspell of level 9 on the prison or the components required for the spell.
