In Dune: Awakening the servers were shut down without much notice. Now the servers are not responding anymore and everyone is asking: When can I play again? We explain how long the maintenance will take and what changes are to be made.
When did the maintenance start? The developers of Dune: Awakening announced on June 12 at 10:33 AM on X.com that they would shut down the servers at 11:30 AM. The maintenance work is expected to last two hours. Accordingly, the servers should be available again at 1:30 PM. There is already some initial information on what will be changed.

What do the developers want to change? The developers of Dune: Awakening have explained in their brief announcement what issues the upcoming patch will address. As was the case with patch 1.1.0.9, the developers are currently tackling the biggest problems reported by players:
- Server stability
- Game client stability
- Bug fixes
While the exact patch notes will be announced after maintenance as usual, the developers have already spoken on some topics that have been problematic since the last patch.
In particular, players in the Oceania region, as well as in other parts of the world, are struggling with the “P34” error. This occurs whenever players travel between maps and prevents some players from being able to switch maps at all.
The region has been marked by the developers as “Region online, but something is not right” on Discord.
A sneaky PvP method where players land on the heads of other players with the ornithopter instead of fighting them could be fixed. Developers had promised a solution “as soon as possible” on Reddit.
